My physical studio space tends to change around depending on needs – it is scalable and modular, so depending on what the project is and requirements for sound, it morphs by design. Different projects mean I can produce bands, artists, albums and singles in the studio. Or if I only need a basic setup while I am working on audio programming or coding and working remotely it saves maintaining a high-end recording studio. I enjoy it that way – it means more time for music and ergonomic flexibility depending on needs of the situation and people involved.
I have access to professional sounds studios in Wellington where I have collaborated with many artists and worked with the owners/ sound engineers to produce high-end post production audio – for example: Park Road Post, The Armoury, The Surgery. If the requirement is to go one step further and if there is project budget and also delivery requirements, then access to this level of production is achievable.
